Jeffree Skewes ~ Coronaisqatsi * (pron Corona-scutts-zi / sung in long monotonous drone like manner)

It was always leading to this
the big hurry-up / the one last hooray
everything overnight turned over
the facts we knew

we now knew

spread
uncovered
seething
catastrophe
a ruin

locked up

shut down
bored witless
some knew better
others suffered

like minded souls
rescued animals
recast shelter

weeded read books stretched limbs
looked within some prayed

others drew rainbows
where these are needed
held hands virtually
waived cooked sang
danced the tik tok

without a centre it's only edges
we form social theory

all networked webbed
oh don't they know
it's us
it's modelled on

this age new age
our age it's all ages
does anyone see it

coming as it were
revolutionary

upside down
inside out
the virus spread
gradually stirring shaking
killing to makes us understand
what life was truly worth

that day the unessential
all went home
some
would never go back
we always knew

it would be this way
