Jeffree Skewes - Streets Like Ours
In the middle of your palm
you can read or hear
by chance a little scene
radio lights blink
act like us
this morning's shock jock
spews snafu into the air
peeps are on the street
roll someone
Instagram lies
home alone
they don't know
planets align
sometimes
there's no rhyme
same for everyone
must be in the water
this season's posts
crazy uncle stares
streets from here
streets from here
all look the same
when rain begins to floods
our little screen
in our hands
Streets like ours - upcycled phone, plastic tray, rose petals / free verse / JS
